Commitment

Commitment.
Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness.
Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too.
All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred.
A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favour all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way.
Whatever you do, or dream you can, begin it.
Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.
Begin it now.
Goethe.

Dear all…

Beautiful Sculpture outside Salisbury Cathedral. Autumn 2016.

Perhaps you are wondering what it is all this about.

It is about change, it is about growth. It is about starting a new journey.

It is about to generate new pathways instead of follow old known roads.

The Happy Boob Club is not dead! Oh no! it simply grew, like we all do. Now it is renamed “Motherhood. And…everything in between”. After a very very long thought I feel it was about time to reflect the change. Hence the change of name, the change of background.

I hope you enjoy it.

Acts of kindness

“I thought I was feeling a bit dry!”

Said a mother standing by the gate of the nursery when she realised I extended my umbrella to cover her head.

I smiled whilst accommodating the umbrella in a way that would cover us without interfering too much into the personal space.

“Thank you” she said “I forgot my umbrella in the car and now I am getting all drenched”

“No worries” I replied, while waiting for the nursery gate to be opened.

I know it may be really silly, but I do believe what Aesop said in his famous fable:

“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted”
